A specialist active dried rum distiller’s yeast. This strain produces an optimum congener profile, producing fruit esters and aromas, making it ideal for rum spirit. It is also highly viable and robust, ensuring a short lag phase and reduced risk of bacterial infection.

Well Suited Style: Rum
Sufficient for up to: 25 L (6.6 US Gal) fermentation.
Instructions: Leave to ferment between 20-28ºC (62-68ºC) ambient air temperature for optimum performance and quality.
Ingredients: Dried yeast, yeast nutrients, amyloglucosidase enzyme, anti foaming agent, vitamins, trace minerals.
NOTE: Distiller’s Yeasts are designed for use when making spirit in the more traditional way, i.e. molasses.
